Plastipak’s Michael Plotzke was recognized as the 2018 CFO of the Year by Plastics News.
Mr. Plotzke has served as Plastipak’s Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Treasurer since 1988 and the Senior Vice President of Finance since November 2016. Throughout his 30+ years with the company, Mr. Plotzke has served in many capacities, including his current roles as Treasurer for Plastipak Packaging, Whiteline and Clean Tech, all of which he has held since 1992.
Mr. Plotzke serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Walsh College, on the Board of Trustees for Eton Academy and as a special advisor to The Rainbow Connection, a charity granting wishes to terminally and seriously ill children.
Plastics News’ CFO of the Year Award honors top individuals in senior management at plastics processing and supplier companies based in North America. The award is based on excellence in financial or other corporate operational management and community involvement.
