The importance of sustainability is of paramount importance to Plastipak's customer base.
Every day, customers are working to maximize the efficiency of their companies while minimizing their impact on the environment.
Plastipak, too, strives to restrict any environmental effect its operations
have. By putting our technology to work on this part of the process,
we have reduced resin to achieve at least a 33% reduction in package
content since 2006.

 Plastipak
has sustainability programs in place to ensure success at every stage
of the manufacturing progress, including energy use, gas emissions and
waste. For instance, the company’s recycling center, Clean Tech, recycles
billions of Plastipak bottles annually, reducing plastic waste. Plastipak
customers may take advantage of Clean Tech’s recycling programs.
